Now I consider Dips a Foo Foo Food- in other words an Appitizer. Alice is my mother and this is her recipe, as you will see it can either be a Dip or a Cheese Ball.- Your Choice, I have sold and made a lot of Cheese Balls, but it seems you need to have the right crowd for them. They are not everyone's cup of tea. 2 8 oz. Packages Cream Cheese 1 18 oz. can of Crushed Pineapple 1 Cups Chopped Pecans ( If making a Cheese Ball have another 1 Cup of Nuts) 1/4 Cup Chopped Green Pepper 2 Tablespoon finely chopped Onion 1 Teaspoon Salt
1. Drain all ingredients well. ( Personally I save the Pinapple Juice and drink it) 2. Mix all of the above with 1 cup of the Chopped Nuts. 3. Chill well, overnight if possible. 4. Serve as a dip with chips OR 5. Roll the ball in the remaining 1 Cup of Nuts and serve as a Cheese Ball with Crackers. Comments (0)
