This is a great basic Chocolate Cake recipe. Another ’On the Go Goodies" staple. This was THE Chocolate Cake.

This recipe needs both the Baking Soda AND the Baking Powder.

1¾ Cup Flour
2 Cups Sugar
¾ Cup Cocoa
1½ t. Baking Soda
1½ t. Baking Powder
1 t. Salt
2 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
½ Cup Vegetable Oil
2 t. Vanilla
1 Cup Boiling Water

1. Preheat oven to 350°

2. Combine dry ingredients in bowl of stand mixer or in mixing bowl

3. Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT for the Water, Beat this for 2 minutes on medium speed.

4. Make sure Water is BOILING and stir it in on low speed, just till mixed.

5. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.
