These are messy but so easy to make and look great on any serving dish. I have also heard them called Snow on the Mountain Cookies. 

4 Unsweetened Squares Chocolate
½ Cup Oil
2 Sugar
4 Eggs
2 t. Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
2 t. Powder
½ t. Salt
½ Cups Nuts- Optional
1 Cup Powdered Sugar- To roll in

1. In medium sized saucepan on stove melt Chocolate, add Oil and Sugar

2. Remove from heat and beat in Eggs and Vanilla by hand

3. add Dry ingredients,  Mix this well

4. Place Plastic Wrap over top of pan and put in fridge to chill overnight

5. When ready to bake preheat oven to 350° and while its heating form dough into walnut size or smaller balls and roll well in Powdered Sugar

6. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or till done. The cracks on top should just be dry
