Devil's Food PB Chip Cookie Mix in a Jar

One year for Christmas, I made a bunch of Cookie Mix in a Jar recipes, they seemed to be a hit so I thought I would share them here.

They are very very easy to put together, you can get fancy in your jars and lid covers or go just pretty simple. It's more what's inside that counts anyway.

1 Devil's Food Cake Mix

2 Cups Peanut Butter Chips

1 Cup Chopped Walnuts (if desired)

This makes 2 1 quart wide mouth Jars. You want to use wide mouth so you can get the ingredients in and out easy.

Spoon 1/2 of the cake mix into each of your jars. Tap it lightly to even the top. Then add 1 Cup of the Peanut Butter Chips and 1/2 Cup of the Walnuts,

if using. Seal the jars and attach a copy of this recipe to each jar.

Using 1 Jar of Cookie Mix, add 1 8 oz. container Sour Creme.

Heat Oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray of your choice.

In large bowl, mix the Sour Creme and Cookie Mix very well. Drop dough by spoonfull onto your cookie sheet.
