In this day and age everything says No White Flour- ok, I am Gluten Free so got that one. No White Sugar, now that is harder but I started studying up on Agave. Information is mixed but bottom line it is better for you than White Sugar so of course I had to try Chocolate Chip Cookies first.
1 Stick Butter 1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar 1/3 Cup Agave Syrup (it is sweeter than Sugar by 1/3) 1 Teaspoon Vanilla 2 Eggs 1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/3 Cup Sour Cream 1/2 Cup Teff Flour 2 Cups Cheryl's Gluten Free Flour Mix 1 Package Chocolate Chips 1 Cup Nuts (Optional)
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees (Agave cooks at a lower temp) 2. Cream the Butter 3. Beat in the Brown Sugar and Agave Syrup 4. Add the Eggs, Vanilla and Sour Cream, beat well. 5. Add the Teff Flour and Baking Soda and Salt 6. Beat in the Gluten Free Flour 7. Stir in the Chocolate Chips and Nuts if using 8. Bake 10 minutes or till done.
