Pecan Pie is an annual favorite, this looks great and is a very rich pie.


3 Eggs Slightly Beaten
1 Cup Karo Syrup Light
1 Cup Sugar
2 T. Melted Oleo or Butter
1 t. Vanilla
1½ Cups Pecan Halves
1 9" unbaked Pie Shell


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. In large bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients till well blended

3. Stir in Pecan halve.

4. Pour into Pastry Shell.

5. Bake 50-55 minutes or till knife inserted between edge and center of pie comes out clean.

For a great presentation  turn all the Pecan Halves top side up.


Yields: 1 9" Pie
