The trick to this fruit pie is Load it up- 6 Large, Firm Tart Apples 1. Preheat oven to 425° 3. Peel and core Apples and slice 4. Toss slices into the Sugar mixture, coating well 5. Place Pie crust into pie 6.Put coated Apple Sliced into Pie Shell and dot with the Butter 7. Lay 2nd Pie Shell on top and crimp edges together all around and take a knife and put slices in top to vent. Good Tart Apples are the way to go- I usually use Granny Smith. Comments (0)
