German Chocolate Frosting PDF Print E-mail
Taste It - Keep Your Fork

This is a favorite frosting of most every man I know.


1 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Sugar
3 Egg Yolks, slightly beaten
½ Cup Butter
1 t. Vanilla
1½ Cups Coconut
1 Cup Chopped Pecans


Combine above and cook, stirring constantly over medium heat till thickened- about 12 minutes. Stir in Coconut and Nuts. Cool till thick enough to spread beating occasionaly.

 
If using this to ice a Cow Pattie Cake- Add 2 drops of green food color and 1 black.
