Sour Cream Apple Cake PDF Print E-mail

2  Cups Flour

1/2  Cup Softened Butter or Margerine

2  Teaspoons Cinnamon

1/2  Teaspoon Salt

1  Teaspoon Vanilla

2   Cups Chopped Apples

2  Cups Brown Sugar

1  Tablespoon Baking Soda

1  Cup Sour Creme

1  Egg

1  Cup Chopped Nuts  (Optional)

 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In large bowl combine the Flour, Brown Sugar and Butter.  Blend till crumbly

3. If you are using Nuts, stir them in now.

4. Press 2 and 3/4 cups of this mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan

5. Now, add the Cinnamon, Salt, Vanilla, Baking Soda, Sour Creme and Egg to the left over crumbles. Blend this all together well.

6. Add the Chopped Apples and stir in. Spoon this over the base mixture.

7. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
