You don’t get more comfort food than this and some real mashed potatoes. I knew I had finally made it when Larry said my Chicken Fried Steak was as good as his Grandma’s. 2 Lb Tenderized Round Steak Cut steak into 4 or 5 pieces rub flour into steak. You can use a meat mallet to beat it in if you like. (This was Grandma’s Secret) In a small bowl lightly beat Egg and Milk together. In a shallow dish that meat will fit in- i piece at a time at least, mix ½ Cup Flour and crushed Crackers, stir together and add Salt and Pepper. Yields: Feeds 4-5 This is another area where quality ingredients in will help make sure you end up with a quality meal. Comments (0)
