If you can’t find the Chili Magic you can use 2 cans of Chili Beans and some more Chili Seasoning instead.


1 Lb. Diet Lean Hamburger
2 Cans Tomato Juice (12oz)
1 Can Chili Magic Traditional
1 T. Williams Chili Seasoning (to taste)
1 Can Diced/Peeled Petite Tomatoes
Cut Up Onion and Green Pepper if desired.


Brown Hamburger Meat and drain well. Put into Crockpot and season with Salt and Pepper to taste. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cook on high 1 hour if possible to get it started then on low at least 4 hours. On low cook at least 6 hours. IF you want Onion and or Green Pepper you can either chop up and use OR you can put big pieces in the pot and pull them out before serving. This gives you the flavor without the heartburn.


Serve with Saltines or Frito's.  We have one friend who swears by Cottage Cheese added to the bowl at serving time.
