We have lived in our home for almost 7 years now. I have one room I have never been happy with the decor till now. Most of that time we did not even have blinds up and its the bathroom.  But please hold your cows because it has obscure glass and I even made DH (dear husband) go over and stand on neighbors deck to make sure you could not see anything.

I said I was never happy with it, that was till now. I am going to show you a before then on my next post I will show you some afters. Little changes with a big difference. We had went to the Wichita Home Show and I was ready for a real redo- you know the kind replace the counter top and while your at it, please redo the tile etc etc. That idea started adding up in $$$ but quick and hubby was the one having a cow.

blah bathroom

There, see what I mean, can you say Builder Beige.  I know I know I live with a builder but yuck.

The saying over the top is Walk thru this world with me.  That was a line in the song we played during our wedding. The next line was Go where I Go- I wanted to paint that over the toilet but I was overruled.

I hate hate hate plate glass mirrors, oh I know it was the style 7 years ago or maybe not, maybe just cheaper but most any woman I know does NOT want to see that much of herself.

I also dislike the one hand towel we shared. I don't know what it is about men but they can make everything in a bathroom wet.  I wanted my own towel. Every women should have one-lol

So number 1 the color was blah, the mirror had no personality, the tiles are all white.  On the up side I love those deep square sinks, and the heated towel warmer.  Yep you heard me right HEATED towel warmer. I bought that over hubby objections and it was hard wired when we built. He figured we would turn it off at nights or at least during the summer   WRONG   This puppy is on all the time, your towels dry out quick, it will dry clothes and it did not cost much- something like 125.00 and its very cheap on electric- I highly suggest them.

So now I have shown you my blah bathroom, once we decided not to spend a fortune redoing what is already nice tile and counters etc. Tomorrow I will show you the New and much improved version.
